"This is going to be a long review because I don't think it's possible to describe how amazing Silvana is. Especially if you are a first-time homebuyer, there is no better choice. Silvana is the definition of an empath - she truly cares about her clients and their needs. She must have dozens of clients at a time yet somehow she makes you feel like you are the only one. She is always available - whether it's at 6 am on a Sunday to do an inspection or 11 pm that same night to get the offer in. I don't know how she brings so much energy to her position (I want to learn her secret!) The last few months in the metro DC housing market have been insane, with demand completely outpacing the supply, and prices have increased exponentially. We were overwhelmed going into it, but Silvana made the whole process a breeze. She took time to understand our "must-have" list and made helpful recommendations for neighborhoods and specific properties (her knowledge of the area is top-notch). When it came time to make an offer on our dream home, she took 3 hours to explain every single detail to us with patience and expertise. It was our first offer ever, yet she managed to help craft one competitive enough to land the deal - even with 10 other offers on the table! Silvana is also the best person you could have by your side in a crisis. We found out on the day of closing there was an issue with the appraisal, and we were terrified the deal would fall thru completely. She communicated with us immediately and with compassion throughout the ordeal. She worked behind the scenes with our lender to get it resolved, and actually negotiated a reduced price from the seller! Simply put, Silvana is more than a REALTOR for us - she is the person who made our dreams come true and is now a friend for life."

She pointed out a ton of things we would never have thought to look at, such as when a house might be in need of a new roof, windows, HVAC system, etc. so that we wouldn’t be surprised by a sudden expense after our purchase. Since she has such a high standard and really cares about her clients, she also works with some of the best home inspectors, lenders, and title companies in the area, and she has picked up a ton of their knowledge over the years, too! She's great at pointing out the benefits and drawbacks of any given house as well as suggesting potential renovations and how they might work. We always felt like she was trying to get us the right house and was willing to tell us when a house was overpriced or had problems that were too serious.
